Former Club Captain moves on a free to Shropshire

Former Crewe Alexandra Full-Back Matt Tootle has signed for League One rivals Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer.

Toots' Alex contract expires at the end of June and he will officially become a Shrews player on 1st July 2015.

The 24-year-old has penned a two-year-deal at the Greenhous Meadow taking him through to summer 2017.

Everyone at The Alex would like to thank Matt for his services to the Club which including winning League Two promotion in the play-offs and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy a season later.
