Swansea's King Signs On Loan

6 July 2015

Crewe delighted to announce the signing of Adam King.

Crewe Alexandra is delighted to announce the signing of Adam King on a youth loan from Swansea City. The 19-year-old midfield player has signed until 5th January 2016. The signing of King quickly follows on from the permanent signing of the former Dagenham and Redbridge midfielder Billy Bingham.

The Edinburgh-born King began his young career with his hometown club Heart of Midlothian and progressed through to first-team level to make three appearances before Swansea signed him for an undisclosed fee in January 2014 on a three-and-half-year deal.

The Scotland Youth International has represented his country at Under-21 level and is highly regarded as a promising teenager. His brother Billy currently plays for Hearts.

A key player for the club’s development squad saw him named on the substitutes’ bench for the Premier League game against Sunderland on the final day of the 2013/14 season and he marked his senior debut as a substitute in the Swans 6-2 win over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup.
