Davis warns about facing wounded Bantams

Steve Davis has warned his players about facing a wounded Bradford City this weekend. The Alex go into the game at Valley Parade on the back on a tremendous 3-0 win over Sheffield United last week and will be looking to go within one point of our hosts with another win.

After a consistent start to the new season, Phil Parkinson’s side have now gone 11 games without a win and will want to avoid being dragged back down into a relegation zone.

Steve has warned his players that Bradford at their own ground will be a tough assignment.

Ahead of the game at Valley Parade, Steve told crewealex.net: “Bradford had a great start and everyone thought the momentum from the previous season has taken them on, and it has. But although they've not been losing many they've been struggling to win games in a tough league.

“They sold Wells to Huddersfield in the window, but they still have goals in the team and have been a bit unlucky in games as well.

“They are a good side with good players and Phil will be looking to finish the season strongly. They are still in a decent position and it will be a tough game.

He added: "They carry a good average crowd and it is a big stadium, the atmosphere is always good. we are looking forward to it.”
