Boss reveals that striker didn't feature in friendly after another club expressed an interest in him in build up to Wolves friendly

Midfielder Anthony Grant missed today's game due to the head injury he suffered against Macclesfield on Tuesday evening. Jon Guthrie is still to return from the ankle injury he sustained in training but he is making good progress.

Pogba has one-year remaining on his current Crewe Alexandra contract.

Pogba was withdrawn from the squad for the visit of the League One champions after expressing an interest in talking to them over the weekend. No deal has been finalised, but Crewe have given Pogba and his agents permission to speak to the club in view of a possible transfer. 

Following Crewe Alexandra's 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon, Steve Davis revealed that forward Mathias Pogba did not feature in our matchday squad due to possible interest from another club.
