Winger signs terms after Alex exit

Winger Lee Molyneux has signed a six-month deal with Tranmere Rovers after his contract at Crewe Alexandra was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old signed for the Alex in summer 2013 from Accrington Stanley on a two-year-deal but failed to establish himself in the regular starting XI.

He was allowed to join Rochdale on an emergency loan for the middle part of last season, before joining former side Accrington on loan in January 2014 for the remainder of the season.

Molyneux began 2014/15 in and around the Alex squad, but was loaned to Stanley again from October until January before his release.
