Loan Duo Return To Their Clubs

25 November 2014

Brandy and Haynes return to their parent clubs.

Steve Davis has elected not to re-sign Febian Brandy and Danny Haynes on loan. The Alex boss has elected to keep his options open and is hoping to sign a forward before Thursday’s emergency loan deadline.

Brandy has returned to his parent club Rotherham United after aggravating his calf muscle on the eve of our away game at Leyton Orient at the weekend. Haynes was left out of the squad for the trip to the capital and has returned to Notts County.

Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Danny worked hard whilst he was here. He trained well but couldn’t quite take that into the games. We have chosen to send him back to Notts County and I’m sure he will pursue other opportunities because he is a good lad.

“Feb is a smashing lad and did well for us when he was fit and available. His effort was first class but he has struggled with his calve. I spoke to Steve (Evans) yesterday and I’m sure Feb will go out somewhere again when he is fully fit.

“We just felt that with those two players, it was the right time for us to look elsewhere at the moment.”

Everyone would like to thank Feb and Danny for their efforts and wish them every success for the future.
