LDV Hoping For Second Debut

17 December 2014

Lauri Dalle Valle talks to Crewe Alex Player about his determination to help Crewe escape the bottom four

After having his ‘second debut’ for Crewe Alexandra put on hold due to a sprained ankle, the club’s latest signing Lauri Dall Valle has told Crewe Alex Player that he cannot wait to get the shirt back on. The enthusiastic Finn is set to resume training tomorrow after overcoming his slight ankle injury.

If he declares himself fit, then the former Fulham forward could be included in the squad to face the current League One leaders Bristol City.

“I am looking forward to get back playing football again. It didn’t quite work out for me in Europe and I wanted to come back to England and my first thought was Crewe. Lauri told Crewe Alex Player:

“I really enjoyed my previous loan here. The people are really nice and it is a great place to play football. I just want to get back playing, help the team and score some goals.

“I am okay and if the manager selects me for the squad then it is something I will really look forward to. Nicky (Ajose) and Uche (Ikpeazu) have come in on loan so the competition is really good here. They are very good players and good friends of mine too and we all want to help the team, so it’s all good.”
