Talented youngster determined to take his chance after signing on loan.

Crewe Alexandra’s new loan signing Adam King is determined to fight for his place after arriving from Premier League outfit Swansea City. The 19-year-old has signed until the first week of January and will battle it out for a place in a new-look Alex midfield.

The Scotland Under-21 International has been given an opportunity to play first team football after some really consistent performances for Swansea’s Development squad.

Adam told Crewe Alex PlayerHD: “It was a perfect opportunity for me and once I heard of Crewe’s interest then I jumped at the chance. I want to come here and do my best for the team.

“It will be a great experience for me and I can’t wait to get into the training and play some pre-season games. It is a massive step from development football but one I am really looking forward to and I just want to get started.

“I have only heard good things about Crewe, the people who work here, the fans and how they give young players a chance.

Adam added: “I am here to work hard and try to get into the team. My main objective is to play is to get games under my belt and help the team be where they want to be. I am ready for the challenge and competing for a place is part of the game.”
