2 September 2015

Boss says hard work has paid off for in-form Inman.

Steve Davis has praised the early season form of Brad Inman and he wants the former Newcastle United youngster to continue to be a potential game changer for us.

Although Crewe have been unable to turn some of our good performances into more points, Inman has started the new campaign in good form. He has opened his own goal scoring account with two superb strikes away at Coventry City and then at home to Bury in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Inman has certainly caught the eye in a new look 4-3-3 formation and Davis puts that promising start down to the hard work he undertook in pre-season.

Steve told crewealex.net: “Brad has been good and his confidence is high at the moment. We have got to keep that going because he is a potential match winner for us.

“He is fitter and stronger and that is from the tough pre-season he had. We worked hard and he is getting the rewards from that. He has really benefitted from the work and he is dealing better with the physical side of things.

He added: “We want to keep Brad at this level of performance because we know the ability he has when he is on top of the game.”
