Harry Davis Doubt For Final Game

Captain struggling after hefty knock on his knee against Donny.

Crewe Alexandra’s club captain Harry Davis could miss Sunday’s final game of the season at Fleetwood after receiving a hefty knock on his knee against Doncaster Rovers.

Davis returned to the starting line-up in Saturday’s 3-1 win against Darren Ferguson’s side but he could miss out on Sunday in what has been a frustrating campaign for the 24-year-old.

Injuries have restricted one of our most experienced players to just 11 appearances this season.

Ahead of our final game of the season, Steve told crewealex.net: “Harry is a doubt. He has a bit of sore knee after receiving a whack on it against Doncaster. We will have to see how he is.

“The others all seem okay. Brad came on against Doncaster and looked sharp. He got his goal and he was fine. He is okay.

““The team performed well against Doncaster and we managed to get a long overdue win, so we’ll have to see what the starting XI will be. I may want to look at different things but will also pick a strong team because of the situation that Fleetwood find themselves in.
