Crewe Alexandra handed boost as Grant and Colclough given all clear to resume training

Crewe Alexandra have been handed a boost ahead of this weekend’s final game of the season against Bradford City with the news that key performers Anthony Grant and Ryan Colclough will be fit.

Grant suffered a cut to his head during Saturday’s 3-1 win over Coventry but after having treatment he was able to complete the 90 minutes at the Ricoh Arena.

Colclough, who was making only his second start for almost 17 months, completed 80 minutes at Coventry before he was replaced by Liam Nolan. Colclough was feeling fatigued and was withdrawn as a precaution.

Alex boss Steve Davis says he will monitor Colclough’s condition this week and will act on the side of caution to make sure one of our potential match winners is for the visit of Bradford City this Sunday.
