Ben Garratt will train at Fred Barber's goalkeeping coaching centre alongside Paul Rachubka.

Crewe Alexandra’s number one goalkeeper Ben Garratt will be joining coach Fred Barber at his summer coaching base this week. Garratt will travel to Staffordshire along with Paul Rachubka who is also continuing to train with us, to obtain specialist goalkeeping coaching from the experienced Barber.

The Crewe Alexandra players returned to full-time training today at the club’s Reaseheath complex with the two goalkeepers travelling to Stafforshire earlier this morning to participate in the work. They will train with Barber this week before joining up with the squad again next week.

Rachubka joined the club in February and replaced Garratt for the remainder of the season when he suffered a fractured in his leg. Rachubka has not signed a deal with the club but remains in talks with boss Steve Davis.
