Former Bristol City stopper to compete with Garratt for position
Crewe Alexandra Football Club have completed the signing of out-of-contract goalkeeper Dave Richards on a one-year-deal, with an option of a further year.Richards left The Robins during the summer after 18-months at Ashton Gate following his signing from Cardiff City.
The 21-year-old is yet to make a professional appearance but was highly rate in the Bluebirds' academy.
Richards will compete with Ben Garratt in the goalkeeping department at the Alex and will be coached by Fred Barber.
