Crewe Alexandra has received a boost with the news that vice-captain David Fox is training again and could feature for the Development Squad at Leeds United on Monday. Fox has missed the club’s last four matches after suffering a minor fracture of the back in the 2-0 defeat at Blackpool.
The former Colchester and Norwich City midfielder was beginning to become a key component of the Crewe midfield before injury and he was arguably enjoying his best performance of the season at Bloomfield Road before he was forced off with the back injury.
