Fulham loanee more than happy to extend his Alex loan

Crewe Alexandra’s Lauri  Dalla Valle has told Crewe Alex Player of his delight after agreeing to extend his loan with the club for another month. Dalla Valle has made an instant impression here at Gresty Road, scoring four goals in just five league games to help the Alex climb in to the top half of League One.

Dalla Valle is now hoping that the goals will continue to flow when he returns from a foot injury which kept him out of Crewe’s 3-1 win over Preston North End on Saturday.

“I was more than happy to re-sign here at Crewe. I was delighted that they wanted to keep me because I have enjoyed my time here. It has been brilliant, to play games, score goals and help the team, ‘said Lauri.

“It has been great here since day one. I’ve enjoyed the training, my team-mates are great with me and the fans have been brilliant in every game. I like the way Crewe play football and the lads are around the same age of me, so it has been really nice to settle in quickly.

“There are a lot of good players here, who work hard and I’m sure some of them can certainly go on and play at a higher level in the future. Every day I come in with a smile on my face and enjoy playing with this team.”
