Davis Keen To Keep Brandy

20 October 2014

Steve Davis says he would like to extend Rotherham winger's loan spell

Steve Davis is hopeful of extending Febian Brandy’s loan agreement with the club after his impressive performances in the last two games. The on-loan Rotherham forward has helped the club collect six points from our previous two matches against Walsall on Saturday and prior to that Coventry.

Brandy was voted man-of-the-match against the Sky Blues following his all-round performance and opening goal in our morale boosting 2-1 win. He was a handful at his former club on Saturday and received a good ovation from both sets of fans when he was replaced by Marcus Haber on 65 minutes.

Brandy’s loan deal expired at the weekend but Crewe boss Steve Davis is keen to extend it ahead of the visit of Peterborough tomorrow night.

Steve told crewealex.net: “I’ve spoken to Steve Evans over the weekend and he is keen to know what is happening with Febian.

“I will speak to the chairman (John Bowler) today and see if we can get things tied up ahead of the Peterborough game. He is keen to stay and Rotherham are keen for him to continue to get game time, so we will see if we can tie it up.”
