Alex will play Rocester on Monday night to open The Gilbert Egerton Stand
Assistant manager Neil Baker is taking a Crewe Alexandra XI to face Rochester on Monday 4th August. The match in Staffordshire kicks off at 7.30pm and all Crewe fans are welcome at the home of the Romans!
Admission prices are as follows: Adults £5.00; Concessions £3.00; U-14's £1.00.
A programme will also be on sale.
The game will mark the naming of the club's main stand as "The Gilbert Egerton Stand", at 84 years old Gilbert is the club's President, and has been with the club since 1952 when he first joined as a player.

Directions: A50 to Uttoxeter, then take the B5030 at the McDonalds island signposted for Rocester and Alton Towers.
After 3 miles, at the second island (opposite the JCB factory) turn right, going over the hump-bridge into the village. At the mini-island turn right into Mill Street and the ground is 500 metres on the left, immediately past the JCB Academy.
