What the press made of the victory in Essex

The Sentinel
RYAN Lowe scored a stunning injury time winner for Crewe Alexandra as the 37-year-old enjoyed a dream return to his former club.
Signed only the day before, Lowe scored in the 90th minute as Crewe came back from 2-0 down to record a seventh straight win at Colchester.
They had been staring at a fourth consecutive defeat however, when George Moncur's strike just three minutes after the re-start added to a stunning Callum Harriott strike just five minutes before the break, a half in which Crewe had dominated.
But then goals from Ryan Colclough, the best player on the pitch, and Marcus Haber turned things around for Steve Davis's side as they looked to have rescued a point.

The Chronicle
Manager Steve Davis praised his side's fighting spirit after they battled back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Colchester thanks to new signing Ryan Lowe's injury-time winner.
The Railwaymen looked dead and buried when they trailed 2-0 with about half an hour left at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday night.
But Lowe, signed on loan from Bury just over 24 hours earlier, came off the bench to inspire a comeback which he completed with a magnificent clincher at the death.
The victory, Crewe's seventh on the spin at Colchester, kept them within three points of safety in League One.

Colchester Gazette
COLCHESTER United threw away a two-goal lead and were beaten 3-2 by League One basement boys Crewe Alexandra tonight.
The U’s had looked on course to end their losing streak thanks to goals either side of half-time from Callum Harriott – a brilliant long-range effort - and George Moncur.
However, Crewe pulled one back on the hour-mark through Ryan Colclough and grabbed a dramatic leveller 11 minutes from time, scored by Marcus Haber.
Substitute Ryan Lowe then chipped keeper Jamie Jones in the 93rd minute, amid crazy scenes at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
