Vadaine Oliver has joined Crewe on a two year deal
Crewe Alexandra is delighted to announce the signing of the Lincoln City forward Vadaine Oliver on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old has become Steve Davis’ first signing of the summer and will join up officially with his new team-mates on June 25th.
The Sheffield-born striker started his career as a Youth player with his hometown club Sheffield Wednesday, earning a two-year professional contract. Injuries hampered his progress at Hillsborough and following his release Oliver joined Lincoln City last summer.
A consistent season saw Oliver score 14 goals in 41 games, including a hat-trick against Hyde United in his final appearance for the Imps. Oliver’s form saw him on the fringes of the England C squad.
