Owen Dale rescues late point at Elland Road
Crewe Alexandra Under 23's fought out a 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road to gain their fifth point of the season from four games.Owen Dale headed home and 85th minute leveller to seal a point after the hosts had taken a 70th minute lead in a tight game.
It was a tense and tight affair, with Leeds grabbing the advantage with 20 minutes remaining after Malik Wilks stabbed home from inside the six-yard box.
After the goal, Crewe took the upper hand and pushed hard, being rewarded with the equaliser five minutes from time when Callum Bullock crossed for Lewis Reilly, who's header was saved - but only pushed out to Dale who steered his header home.
Crewe had further chances to snatch the victory late on, but Leeds held on for a share of the spoils.
