Reilly brace helps Lunt's lads to victory
Crewe Alexandra Under 18's earned a comfortable 3-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday in what proved to be a stellar performance.A brace for Lewis Reilly and a third from Owen Dale completed the impressive victory against the in-form Owls.
Crewe took the lead on 26 minutes, Reilly curling a delectable 25-yard free kick into the top corner.
Just minutes into the second half, Reilly doubled his & The Alex's advantage, firing an unstoppable shot into the top corner on his weaker left foot across the goalkeeper.
Wednesday pulled one back just after the hour mark with a fine shot into the top corner of their own, but Dale rounded off the scoring on 71 minutes for 3-1, tapping home from close range after his initial shot was saved & Harry Pickering tripled-tapped the rebound from the by-line.
