Bell loses first game in charge
Lee Bell suffered defeat in his first game as U18 Manager after his side were defeated 1-0 at Huddersfield Town.
After drawing 2-2 with Leeds the week previous, Bell would’ve been hoping to open with a victory, but the defeat was the third in the last four games for the Under 18’s as a whole.
It was a tale of missed chances again against the Terriers, with Crewe unable to recover from going 1-0 down to their hosts in the 25th minute.
Despite pressure & opportunities on goal, Bell was once again left frustrated with the result as his side dropped down to fourth in the U18 PDL2 table.
