U18’s Have An Off-Day In Cardiff
Crewe Alexandra’s Under 18’s succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at Cardiff City to end a promising run that saw the team win four of their previous five games.
Lewis Reilly scored a consolation for the side, but the game was already done at that point with the Bluebirds having already struck all four of their goals.
The first period was a tight affair, with the hosts going in 1-0 at the interval with their only shot in the opening 45, the ball finding its way past goalkeeper Jake Hilton with a strike from distance.
The Bluebirds took full control after half-time, notching three times before substitute Reilly’s diving header.
