No surgery needed for winger on injured shoulder
On loan Chelsea winger Alex Kiwomya has returned to Crewe Alexandra for his rehabilitation on his injured shoulder after an assessment at his parent Club.The 20-year-old was forced off in the latter stages of the 2-0 victory at Grimsby with a dislocated shoulder but the winger will not have to go undergo surgery after getting the all clear.
Kiwomya will resume running & fitness work this week, and will hope to take part in non-contact training with the first team squad next week.
The news comes as a boost to the player and staff at Crewe with Kiwomya excelling in the early stages of the season with four goals in ten appearances in 2016/17.
