Jonah lasts whole game on U21 debut in Reykjavik

Crewe Alexandra midfielder James Jones made his debut for Scotland Under 21's in Iceland yesterday, playing 90 minutes in the 2-0 defeat.

The Scots were already ruled out of qualifying contention for next summer's U21 European Championships after defeat to Macedonia and Ukraine in September before the clash in Reykjavik.

The side finish their qualification campaign in Skopje against Macedonia on Tuesday next week, with Jones hoping to once again get the nod.

Jones will then return to the UK on Wednesday 12 October, before returning to Crewe training on Thursday 13 October.
