Young Crewe suffer defeat to Hednesford in pre-season run out

A younger Crewe Alexandra side lost 1-0 to Hednesford Town this evening as the club's squad got another pre-season run-out ahead of the new season. Gurjit Singh struck the only goal of the game on 55 minutes to give the Pitman victory.
 
Crewe's best chance on the night came from the penalty spot but loan signing Alex Kiwomya saw his penalty superbly saved by Ransome on 64 minutes. Crewe continued to press looking for an equaliser but couldn't find a way past Liam McDonald's hard working side.

The likes of Kiwomya, Finney, Ainley all featured for Alex Morris' side as did midfield trialist Jamie Osborne.
