Harry: "We've Missed Kiwomya"

Harry says on-loan winger provides a different dimension.

Harry Davis says that the Alex dressing room is glad to have winger Alex Kiwomya back from injury. The on-loan Chelsea youngster returned to first team action last week at Notts County, scoring the equaliser after coming off the bench to replace young Tommy Lowery.

Kiwomya, 20, had missed the club’s last five games after sustaining a shoulder injury late on away at Grimsby Town but the England Youth International is again pushing for a recall against Yeovil this weekend.

Harry told crewealex.net: “It was good to see Alex back. We have missed him, certainly his goals. He gives us another option with his pace.

“He took his goal really well last week. Coops (George Cooper) did really well coming inside to create the opening and it was a calm finish from Alex into the bottom corner. It was great to hit back so soon after they scored.

“Getting through the game and scoring a goal will only enhance his confidence. I know better than most what it is like to suffer with injuries. The more minutes you get, the better it gets. It does affect you mentally but Alex came on last week and looked absolutely fine.”
