Harry After Three Points After Draws

20 October 2016

Davis determined to end our run of six without a win.

Harry Davis says Crewe Alexandra can ill-afford to let three points slip from our grasp again this weekend. The club’s centre-half is disappointed that we have now not won in our last six games and have drawn four of our last five league games.

He says that the dressing room are determined to put that recent statistic behind them when Yeovil visit the Alexandra Stadium this weekend.

Harry was understandably left despondent when his perfectly headed goal was not given at Notts County at the weekend. The linesman’s decision not to award a goal when the ball had clearly crossed the line proved costly for the Railwaymen as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Harry told the club’s official web-site: “We were disappointed not to have won at Notts County because we felt that they were there for the taking. There was a great opportunity for three points there, so now we have move on, work hard and make sure we get the three points on Saturday. We need to be winning more games, we have drawn too many.

“We just didn’t play as much football as we should have done in the second half at Notts County. We were the better side in the first half and of course having the goal not given didn’t help.

“We then went a goal behind and we know we have to eradicate those little errors that are costing us.”
