What the press made of the superior 5-0 display

The Chronicle
It was a day of firsts on a memorable afternoon at Gresty Road on Saturday.
David Artell’s first win as manager was the side’s first success of 2017.
The Railwaymen recorded their first victory in a dozen attempts, and Callum Cooke bagged his first career goal to complete the route.
Earlier, Chris Dagnall’s brace got him on the scoresheet for the first time since October, and George Cooper also bagged a double to be the side’s outstanding player - not for the first time.
The result has lifted Crewe to 18th in League Two - six points from the drop zone 0- and surely given them a real shot in the arm in their relegation battle.

Grimsby Telegraph
GRIMSBY Town have fallen to a dismal 5-0 defeat against Crewe Alexandra in their League Two encounter this afternoon.
It was a catastrophic opening 45 minutes for the Mariners, who conceded FOUR goals against the struggling hosts, who completed a season double over the black and white army.
George Cooper and Chris Dagnall each grabbed a brace for the Railwaymen, and Callum Cooke rounded-off the scoring five minutes from time.
It was the home side's first victory in 12 games!
