Winger joins on loan until January
Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of winger Alex Kiwomya on loan from Chelsea until January 9 2017.The 20-year-old has linked up with the Alex squad in training for the first time today & will be available for Friday's home friendly with Bolton Wanderers.
Alex, nephew of former Ipswich & Arsenal striker Chris Kiwomya, graduated through the Chelsea academy in 2015, having joined the Club from Rotherham in 2010.
The pacey winger enjoyed success in the Blues academy, before getting his first taste of senior football in 2014/15 with two-month loan spell at Barnsley and then for a single month at Fleetwood in 2015/16, making a combined nine appearances.
Alex arrives on the back of penning a fresh one-year-contract-extension at Chelsea and will wear the number 22 shirt during his stay at Gresty Road.
