What the press made of the final day success

The Chronicle
Chris Dagnall scored a super hat-trick as Crewe Alex cruised to an impressive victory on the final day of the season at Gresty Road on Saturday.
The top-scorer and captain took his tally to 17 for the campaign with a deadly display, and George Cooper got the other on a positive day for the club.
It was the first hat-trick scored by a Crewe player since April 2011, when both Clayton Donaldson and Joel Grant hit three in an 8-1 demolition of Cheltenham Town.
And the win meant they finished 17th in League Two, with eight home wins, seven draws and eight defeats.
It was a good way to wrap up a very disappointing term, and it sent the Alex fans home happy and with optimism for what lies ahead.
Now manager David Artell face some tough decisions of contracts, and a summer of important recruitment work.

Barnet Times-Series
Barnet suffered a heavy defeat in their last game of the season, their defensive errors being punished by an eager Crewe side, with striker Chris Dagnall grabbing a hat-trick in a 4-1 win.
Caretaker boss Rossi Eames selected an unchanged starting eleven, opting for the same team that had defeated Grimsby Town at the Hive the week before.
The Bees conceded an early goal once more, something that has blighted their season and from the eighth minute Barnet were playing catch-up with Crewe ultimately able to cruise fairly comfortably to a victory.
