Artell: "Stevenage Play The Right Way"

David Artell preview our home game against Sarll's Boro

David Artell expects a good game of football against in-form Stevenage this weekend. The Alex boss says that he and his players will certainly be treating Darren Sarll’s side with great respect as they aim to break into the play-off places. Stevenage have won four of their last five games and picked up a handy point at Exeter last weekend.

Meanwhile, Crewe will come into the game in better form of late, having won two and drawn one at Blackpool last week.

Ahead of our home fixture, Artell told crewealex.net: “Stevenage are a good side and they will come here and play football. They have good players. Tonge and McAnuff have played in the Premier League and they are very good footballers.

“That just goes to show how the level of League Two football has improved. The standard has improved. It has improved in the Conference and that is the result of better players dropping down.

“They are in good from and we are in better form. Going unbeaten for three is not that much but it is when you think where we have come from.

He added: “They have good players, but we have good players as well. We will work out a game plan and take on the challenge. We respect Stevenage and what they are achieving this season but we shouldn’t fear anyone with the players we have. “
