Big Dave hoping to galvanise players & supporters
Crewe Alexandra Manager Dave Artell spoke of his excitement after conducting his first press conference since being named First Team boss.
The former promotion winning captain takes over a side that have won just two games in 21, but he insists players & supporters must take this opportunity to help turn things around.
He said: "It's exciting. It's an opportunity for myself, but more importantly it's an opportunity for the players, & the fans.
"We've all got a part to play. Obviously I'm going to have more than most, but its an exciting opportunity for every involved with the Club.
"The players know that, I've told them that. It's a clean slate & a fresh start & I'd like to think the fans are of the same opinion.
"Those that might have been staying away or apprehensive about coming down to Gresty Road on a Saturday afternoon then now's the time. There's no time better than the present - the lads need the support."
