Funeral of Barry Daly is today and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

The funeral of Barry Daly takes place this afternoon. The funeral cortege will commence from the Alexandra Stadium at 12.45pm ahead of the service scheduled for 1.20pm at Crewe Crematorium.

Barry, 63, was a long-standing employee of Crewe Alexandra over many years, and his jobs included gateman and driver. Big Baz drove the team coach into Wembley for the 2012 play-off final.

The wake will be held in Carlsberg Lounge at the Football Club.

Our thoughts are with his wife, Judith, and all his family and friends on this sad day.
